Common Questions about ChessVision

Is it difficult to set up?

Not at all. There are only two cables: one plugs into the wall for power, the other plugs directly into your TV.
Each ChessVision is ready to go right out of the box and will begin showing chess immediately once it
is plugged in. Of course, it is recommended that you take a few minutes to learn how to operate the
easy-to-use menu in order to take full advantage of the display features, but this is not necessary to enjoy
the Chessvision.

Will it work with my TV?

If you use a DVD player or a modern video game console then the answer is yes -- the ChessVision
connects to your television in exactly the same way as these. If still unsure, you can check your TV for
a small jack with a yellow insert that may be labeled "RCA video input" or "composite".

Will it work in my country?

If you live in North or South America, Western Europe (excluding France), Asia or Australia then the
answer is yes. The ChessVision works for both the NTSC and PAL video standards with no adjustments
necessary. ChessVision will not work in countries that use the SECAM standard, such as those in
Eastern Europe, Africa, and states of the former Russian republic.

A wall power adapter appropriate to your home country will be included with your shipment.
